I’m finding lately the more I step away from realism and the more I learn towards bolder and more impressionistic strokes the more I enjoy the process - and the happier I am with the results… As was the case with this one. Tried to capture that feeling of a wave breaking on a calm windless day while also giving myself a bit of ‘artistic freedom’ to play around a bit with making some fun marks..
